Wealthy is an Heirloom apple that's very juicy, with a mildly tart and sweet flavor. It's an excellent multi-use apple. Good for eating fresh, as well as cooking, such as pies, crisps, desserts, sauces. Use them for drying, canning and preserving as well.
Horticulturalist Peter Gideon first grew Wealthy in Minnesota in 1868. The apple was named after his wife Wealthy Gideon. Enjoy this wonderful all-around apple!
