Haralson Apples Excellent for Baking & Available NOW

Haralson Apples Excellent for Baking & Available NOW

The Haralson apple is a cross between a Malinda and a Wealthy apple, producing large, tart, and very firm fruit. These apples are excellent for pies and great for fresh eating, especially for those who enjoy a hard, tart bite. They hold their shape well when sliced and cooked, making them ideal for pie fillings.

While Haralsons are perfect for salads, cheese trays, and snacking, they aren’t the best choice for applesauce due to their firm texture. However, their excellent flavor makes them ideal for drying, and they freeze well, too. This extremely cold-hardy variety also stores nicely, ensuring you can enjoy their taste throughout the season!

What Do Haralson Apples Taste Like?

These apples are firm with beautiful white flesh that has a tart and complex flavor.
