Welcome to our Opening Day Season! We're so glad to offer you a great crop of apples this year.
Apples Available Today:
Today we have Dudley apples an excellent cooking apple. Dudley's are a greenish-yellow fruit with a red overlay. It's a firm, tender and very juicy apple. We'll have a limited supply of Rave apples which are great for eating out of hand.
Paulared apples will be available this afternoon. They can be used for both fresh eating and for cooking. A Paulared apple is not too sweet, not too tart. Paulared is perfect for applesauce because it breaks down quickly. Because they break down quickly, when making a pie, combine it with firmer varieties of apples and use a thickener.
Donuts anyone?
The Apple Corner Bakery will have freshly made apple cider donuts and cookies available. All our baked goods are fresh and hard to resist! Some say our donuts are a legend.
