Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Second Annual Sunrise Orchards Car Show with a Cause!
We had 81 amazing cars on display - what a fantastic turnout! Sunrise is proud to donate $10 per car to Badger Honor Flight, supporting Wisconsin veterans with unforgettable trips to Washington, D.C.
It was a wonderful day celebrating beautiful cars, community spirit, and a great cause.
A special thank-you to Ken Elmer from Swiss Family Smokehouse for their generous donation in memory of our second-generation Sunrise Orchards owner Maynard Teach. Ken was a Marine Corps officer and Swiss Family has been the exclusive supplier of sausages and cheeses to Sunrise for over 42 years.
The judges for the event were Vietnam Army veteran, Lee Jeffers, who went on the Badger Honor Flight in September of 2023 with Allen Teach, President Sunrise Orchards. And Air Force veteran Christopher Ehlert who served two tours of duty in Iraq. Thank you Judges!
Also, many thanks to Sleepy Hollow Auto for bringing all the delicious ice cream treats. Our families have purchased many cars and trucks from Sleepy Hollow (a lot of Fords!) and we have always received great deals and service after the sale.
Author John Armbruster was signing copies of his book Tailspin describing the World War II experiences of a local veteran Gene Moran. A truly amazing story of true human courage.
We’re proud to support Badger Honor Flight, an organization that takes Wisconsin veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials and receive a heartfelt welcome home.
Join us again on Saturday, November 9, when Sunrise will donate $10 for every half-bushel box of apples sold to Badger Honor Flight.
