Here's what the Travel Wisconsin Fall Color Report is predicting for Crawford County.
Currently, September 18th we're at 10% peak fall color. Peak color is estimated the 3rd week of October!
Wow! Check this out! The fall foliage in Crawford County is a sight to behold every year. So far, it is the sumac's that are blazing with color along State Scenic Byway 60 bordering the Wisconsin River. On the WI All American Great River Road Hwy 35 the colors are just emerging with light yellows, lime green's and bright sumac's. The hills and bluffs, goat prairies are rusty browns & tans. Pelicans and swans are gathering on the Mississippi River to prepare for migration south. Watch for the hawks in the sky because they will be leaving in Sept. This is a super time to travel, unplug and reset. See you soon.
